Call of Duty: Warzone may be coming to mobile phones soon

Call of Duty Mobile is currently one of the best multiplayer shooting game there is. Since the PUBG Mobile ban, CODM has replaced it in the hearts of gamers with its dynamic features and gameplay.

Although CODM has a battle royale mode, it lacks depth and does not offer the same experience as PUBG Mobile did. But there are rumours that Warzone, the battle royale mode for Call of Duty PC and console version might be coming to Mobile. A job posting that gave rise to these rumours said that Activision Blizzard was for looking for a Features Executive Producer for Warzone.

What we know about Warzone Mobile

Further adding to the excitement, a Warzone Mobile subreddit was also created by the Warzone community lead. It will be a game-changing move if Activision Blizzard brings Warzone to Mobile as players will be able to experience the most realistic, hardcore battle royale mode. Currently not much is known about the Warzone Mobile version. We do not know the release date and only time will tell if it will be a standalone game or a just a massive update to the existing version of Call of Duty Mobile and if it will be cross-play compatible or not.

Daniel Alegre, Activision Blizzard President and COO has also said they are looking to expand beyond PC and consoles. He says, “Enabling [Activision’s] franchises on billions of mobile devices” is “by far [its] biggest opportunity.”

Currently, Call of Duty Mobile is one of the most played mobile multiplayer games. Since it was released back in October 2019, it has witnessed more than 250 million downloads on both Android and iOS.
