OnePlus launches OnePlus Nord; buyers can expect great gaming performance

Over the past couple of weeks, the OnePlus Nord has been making headlines pretty much all over social media. With this phone, OnePlus is returning to their roots- an affordable phone with great overall specifications.

With a 90Hz refresh rate display and a Snapdragon 765G, you can expect some high frame rates even one demanding games like Asphalt, PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile. So, here's what you need to know about the phone.

Expect high end gaming performance on this budget smartphone killer

The OnePlus Nord features a high refresh rate 90 Hz display panel, which comes to you in a 1080p resolution. Needless to say, the display on this phone is at par and even better than many other phones in the price range.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 765G. This makes the phone 5G compatible, which leads to the OnePlus Nord being one of the cheapest 5G phones on the market. Along with the SoC, you also get either 8 or 12GB of RAM on board.

The high RAM capacity will make for great gaming performance as well as smooth day to day functionality. As of now, we have not tested gaming on this particular phone, but you can expect it to perform better than your average smartphone.

Since this is a smartphone geared towards all sorts of users, there will be the addition of OnePlus' own Fnatic Gaming software, which helps enhance gaming performance on this phone to some extent.

Apart from that, the phone has a quad camera setup at the back and a dual camera setup at the front. Around the back you have a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

All in all, you can keep some high expectations of this phone and you can be sure that it will deliver. If you're looking for a phone that can get you through your gaming sessions, the OnePlus Norb probably has you covered.
