Be at your creative best and plan the perfect heist in Teardown
Teardown is one of the latest entries in the Indie genre of games. Developed and published by Tuxedo Labs, Teardown is a game where you are thrown into a simulated environment and are tasked with performing a heist.
Break, build, tear through buildings, dig, use your creativity, and come up with the best way to perform a heist and efficiently escape without getting caught. Teardown was launched on October 29 for Microsoft Windows (Steam Store).
Teardown offers Interactive environment and creative freedom
Teardown features an interactive environment where you will be given tools to execute your heist in a not-so-discrete manner. You have the creative freedom to ram your truck through a wall or windows, jump through roofs, do whatever you can to finish the task. You only have to be careful about not setting off the alarm or damaging the thing you are supposed to steal.
Teardown has three different game modes.
Take up jobs, get acquainted with some shady people, do their bidding to get your company out of debt. Demolish, steal, break, gather more tools. That's the name of the game.
This mode gives you an opportunity to be at your creative best. You have a chance to explore various environments with the tools you have unlocked.
Using the free voxel modeling software MagicaVoxel, you can create your own level or modify an existing one.
Some of the features in Teardown include-
A voxel environment that can be completely destroyed, realistic objects, debris, vehicles, water, fire, and smoke, variety of tools ranging from a basic sledgehammer to much more loud and fiery explosives, Campaign mode with a deep narrative, and an opportunity to explore the environment in Sandbox mode.
