Super Meat Boy Forever is coming out on December 23, 2020
In 2010, a game called Super Meat Boy was launched by developers calling themselves Team Meat. The indie game was a huge hit among the masses and now, the team has announced the release date for the sequel of the game.
Super Meat Boy Forever is set to come out this month, on December 23, 2020. The indie game will come to platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, iOS, Android, and Linux. The game was first announced way back in 2015. Here's what you need to know about the sequel to Super Meat Boy- Super Meat Boy Forever.
Super Meat Boy Forever is building on the things that made Super Meat Boy a hit
In Super Meat Boy Forever, your character, Meat Boy has more capabilities than he did in the first game. For starters, it packs a bigger punch and has new slide and plummet maneuvers. These are just some of the new and added mechanics to the sequel which is coming out on December 23, 2020.
Interestingly, Super Meat Boy's core gameplay is kept the same. The new game has a feature that makes it so that levels are randomly generated and each time the game is completed, the option to replay the game appears. In turn, this generates different levels with their own unique secret locations. Once you've finished the game, there's actually a lot more to do and see around the levels.
In fact, the randomly generated levels make it so that you may never even come across the same level on different playthroughs. The game will be available on PC via the Epic Games Store with a pre-order discount which is available right now for a price of $17.99.
