The Steam Game Festival will run for 7 days where fans can try demos, chat with developers, watch live streams, and learn more about the upcoming games on Steam. This event is a good opportunity for developers to get early feedback from players and build an audience for a future launch on Steam.
This is the fourth edition of the event. The very first Steam Game Festival coincided with Keighley's Game Awards back in December 2019. Two more of the online events ran this year- One in March and the other one in June.
The Steam Game Festival will be showing demos of games that are scheduled to launch on Steam between now and May 1, 2021. While there is a slim chance of any big gaming event taking place this year, this event offers gamers a chance to explore and try out some of the upcoming games while patiently waiting for things to get back to normalcy.
Further Steam Game Festival events are planned for February 2021 and June 2021 but the dates are tentative. It is possible that such events can be expected to become a regular occurrence even beyond 2020.
