Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game-Complete Edition release date announced

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game- Complete Edition gets a release date after the game's return was announced by Ubisoft back in September. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game- Complete Edition which includes the Knives Chou and Wallace Wells DLC packs is set to release on January 14, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows, and Stadia.

The game was first released in 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in singleplayer mode as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game. Later in 2013, a multiplayer mode was added to the game as a part of the Wallace Wells DLC. In December 2014, the game and its DLC's were delisted from the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The exact reason for the delisting is not known but it is speculated that it might have happened due to license expiration.

After being away from more than a decade, the game is set to make a comeback for the hyped-up audience. The game received positive reviews when it was first released in 2010 and within a couple of weeks of its initial release, the game gathered a massive fan following.

This was largely because of the unique gameplay it offered, the 2D art style, and the soundtrack featured in the game. The soundtrack for the game was written, composed and performed by Anamanaguchi and IGN called it "possibly the best soundtrack on PS3". After a long wait, fans will be eager to play their favorite Beat 'em up game once again.
