Velocity Gaming bags TEC Valorant Challenger Series finale

This marks the end of the TEC Valorant Challenger Cup

Velocity Gaming now rebranded as Team Mahi, has successfully bagged The Esports Club (TEC) Valorant Challenger Series V after defeating Global Esports 3-1 at the best of five grand finals, marking the end of the TEC Valorant Challenger Cup. Velocity Gaming will take home Rs.1,00,000 out of the Rs. 2,00,000 prize pool.

The TEC Valorant Challenger Cup is a seasonal championship that featured five tournaments that were held across 5 months, with each tournament showcasing some of the greatest matches played between the most prominent Valorant teams of India.

Velocity Gaming has won every Challenger Series they have participated in

Velocity Gaming that packs India's most extraordinary Valorant players: Anuj 'Amaterasu' Shah, Tejas 'Rite2Ace' Sawant, Sabyasachi 'Antidote' Bose, Vibhore 'Vibhor' Vaid, Sagnik 'Hellfighter' Roy, and Karan 'Excali' Mhaswadkar, have won the first, second, fourth and fifth iterations of the TEC Valorant Challenger Series.

The team did not take part in the TEC Challenger Series III as the players were on a break, after consecutively dominating the Valorant scene in India since the launch of the game.

The triumph in the fifth series, means that Velocity Gaming has won every Challenger Series they have taken part in.

TEC Challanger Series V Grand Finals overview

The Grand Finals witnessed two of the most prominent teams in the region i.e Global Esports and Velocity Gaming battle it out against each other, as the finals showcased some of the most extraordinary matches of the series

Here's a quick overview of the TEC Valorant Challenger Series V Grand Finals:

Match 1: Global Esports were off to a good start as they secured the first match of the grand finals played on Icebox with a scoreline of 13-4.

Match 2: Down by a game Velocity Gaming's firepower slowly started to kick in as they secured the second match of the grand finals after staging an insane comeback on Ascent with a scoreline of 14-12 .

Match 3: Velocity Gaming did not lose their momentum as they secured the third match of the Grand Finals too which was played on Split with a scoreline of 13-9.

Match 4: The fourth and final match of the Grand Finals which concluded the TEC Valorant Challenger Series that was played on Haven was secured by Velocity Gaming with a scoreline of 13-6
