Stardew Valley gets huge 1.5 update with new map and more
The popular farming simulator Stardew Valley has just received a new update in time for the holiday season. The new update 1.5 is a huge update to the game and it adds new NPCs, new quests, a new map and lots more content for you folks to enjoy.
Interested gamers would be happy to know that this is simply the biggest content addition to the game in an update. On the website, game developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone wrote, “It is by far the biggest solid chunk of new content that’s been added to the game since launch.” So, here's all you need to know about update 1.5 in the pixelated farming simulator, Stardew Valley.
There's a new map, farm animals, crops and more which have come to the game

One of the biggest additions to the game is the new map called Beach Farm. The new map offers a completely revamped environment and prohibits the use of sprinklers for an added challenge. Additionally, players will also have to grow crops on sand, which in itself is a challenging task. The map itself is mostly sand with a water body surrounding it and some inside the map as well.
Apart from that, there is now an Advanced Options tab which lets you customize your next playthrough, create your character and tweak with the world a little bit.
Another key feature worth noting which will come to the game along with update 1.5 is split screen local co-op mode. Players can finally play Stardew Valley in split screen along with their friends and family. Locally, you can play the game with up to three players.
