Horizon Zero Dawn is now available for PC with unlocked frame rates and graphical improvements
Perhaps one of the best Playstation Exclusive of the past couple of years was Horizon Zero Dawn. Sure, it didn't work in a lot of places, but all in all, the game was an enjoyable experience with a magnificent world.
Now, the game is out for PCs and you can get it on the Epic Games store as well as on Steam. On PCs, you even get a few added bonuses, so here's what's in store for you.
Horizon Zero Dawn on PC will promise a breathtaking experience
Horizon Zero Dawn is beautiful and competently made, if perhaps slightly too by-the-numbers in its approach to open-world game design. The PC version has met with positive reviews across the board from critics, mainly being praised for upscaling the game.
We’re relieved that the upgraded visuals for the PC edition haven’t meant as big an increase to the install size as we had initially anticipated, and the Decima-powered game doesn’t have outlandish system requirements, either.
The game will have you step into the shoes of a tribal member who goes by the name Aloy. Equipped with a bow and an arrow, your goal is to wipe off mechanical monsters around the world in an effort to make humanity live and prosper once again.
Throughout the game, you will encounter a slew of interesting characters and other events, each of which will have a bearing on your play through. At any rate, this is a game that is a must play.
Interestingly, according to SteamDB, Horizon Zero Dawn hit a peak of 56,557 concurrent Steam players at about 17:38 GMT. That’s only part of the story, too, since Horizon Zero Dawn is also available for PC via the Epic Games Store. But those numbers are enough to put it in the top ten most-played games on Steam.
