Cyberpunk 2077 PC requirements revealed during Night City Wire episode 3
Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing in a couple of months. Coming from the developers of Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, you expect this game to be rich- story wise and graphically as well.
Fortunately, CD Projekt Red have unveiled the system requirements needed to run this game on PC.
Cyberpunk 2077 PC requirements
The PC specification requirements were revealed during the Night City Wire Episode 3. Going straight to it, here are the minimum system requirements to run Cyberpunk 2077 on PC-
OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 10
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310
Memory: 8 GB
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 3 GB or AMD
Radeon RX 470
Storage: HDD (70 GB, SSD recommended)
The recommended system requirements are-
OS: 64-bit Windows 10
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
Memory: 12 GB
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB or
AMD Radeon R9 Fury
Storage: SDD (70 GB)
These system requirements don't look too scary and you should be able to run the game at 1080p on GPUs from the past generation. You will need to upgrade your system if you want to run the game on 1440p or 4K resolution.
Additionally, the game will also support ray tracing, which can only be achieved by either an Nvidia RTX enabled GPU or the upcoming consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
You can run the game on a decent PC!
The game should be fairly smooth to run even on a mid-tier gaming PC. Cyberpunk 2077 releases on 19 November 2020 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game will be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X on the same day.
