Night City Wire Episode 4 talks about the futuristic rides of Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is just around the corner and we are learning new things from developer CD Projekt Red's Night City Wire Series. The 4th episode of Night City Wire was streamed yesterday after it was announced last week.

While the 3rd Episode talked about the Districts, History, and Gangs of the Night City, this episode sheds light on some of the vehicles players will drive in this futuristic dystopia. Additionally, the episode also gave us an insight into styles of Night City, which creates an important distinction.

Vehicles of the Night City

CDPR has gone to great lengths to deliver vehicles that fit in the Night City. They have put a lot of attention to how the cars will look on the outside, as well as inside and that has resulted in something absolutely gorgeous.

Each of these futuristic vehicles has a unique style and a unique driving experience. Let's take a look at some the classes of vehicles we'll get to drive in Cyberpunk 2077.

Nothing advanced, nothing fancy in the Economy Class cars. This class of utility vehicles features the most basic of cars which can be afforded by everyone.

Heavy Duty

Designed by the best engineering minds, Heavy Duty vehicles will offer you the power and brute force you are looking for. If they get going, these beasts can become unstoppable.

The Executive Class made to impress. Equipped with latest technology and plush interiors, these vehicles give a whole new meaning to the word "Class".

The Sport class- Breath in the smell of burning rubber as these cars tear through the city. These cars can be used for street racing and making quick getaways.

Equipped with the most expensive materials, Hypercars offer speed and armor to "take you places you'd never dreamed you'd go."

Paul Dalessi, Senior Vehicle Artist, says that "Every single vehicle that you buy will be unique with respect to the interior, exterior, paint job and handling." He also states that "No matter what your flavor is, you will find a car that suits your needs."

The episode talks about a "true automotive icon" in the game. Paul reveals the car in question as Johnny Silverhand's car, The 1977 Porsche 911. A car that perfectly matches his personality.

The team went to great lengths in recreating the sounds for these vehicles. From pushing cars to their absolute limits to revving Arch bikes, CDPR has gone out of their way to give players an unforgettable experience.

Cyberpunk 2077 has gone gold and is all set to release on November 19, 2020 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, Google Stadia, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows.
