PUBG Mobile pro and YouTube streamer Naman "Mortal" Mathur is an esports athlete and founder of Team SouL. Under his skill and leadership, SouL went on to get some notable achievements.
He is one of the biggest personalities in Indian gaming with over 6 million subscribers on YouTube. It is no surprise that his work in boosting the Indian gaming scene is being recognized. In that light, he has been nominated for the award of the Esports Mobile Player of the Year by the Esports Awards.
A rising star and an Idol for many
The Esports Awards are aimed at recognizing global esports talents. Esports Awards honours these personalities by celebrating their achievements and contributions towards the industry.
Mortal and his Team SouL mainly focused on PUBG Mobile. Since it was formed in 2018, the team went on to win the PUBG Mobile India Series in March 2019 taking home prize money of $41,806. They also went on to win several other championships in various spheres of the gaming industry.
With his humble personality, soft demeanor, and an almost unparalleled passion for the game, Mortal has managed to garner a huge fan following from all over the world. The fact that he donated his portion of the winnings from the PMCO 2019 to the Indian Army, makes his fans love him even more.
