Total Gaming wins big at the Free Fire India Esports Awards

Two highly awaited tournaments are lined up for Free Fire in January 2021

Free Fire India recently announced the winners of the Free Fire India Esports Awards. These awards are handed out to players who have made a significant impact in the competitive scene and towards the growth of Free Fire and mobile gaming.

Fans had a chance to vote for their favourite from 5 different categories- Squad Captain of the Year, Fragger of the Year, Sniper of the Year, Best Play of the Year, and Casting Duo of the Year. The voting was open for two days from January 1 to January 3 11:00 AM. Here's what the final results of Free Fire India Esports awards look like.

Free Fire India Esports Awards Winners

Among the 5 winners, 3 awards were handed out to Team Total Gaming. FozyAjay from Total Gaming was awarded the Squad Captain of the Year Award, whereas VasiyoCRJ7 was awarded the Fragger of the Year and Best Play of the Year Award. He made some noteworthy plays at the FFCS Asia Finals.

Pahadi from Team CriticalX Elite won the Sniper of the Year award. He was also awarded the MVP of the FFIC Fall 2020. Alternatively, MambaSR and Aura were the Casting Duo of the Year Award winners.

Two highly awaited tournaments are lined up for Free Fire in January 2021. The first one is the Free Fire Titan Invitational 2021 which is set to take place on January 16 and January 17. The second one is the Free Fire Gaming Masters tournament from Jio and MediaTek.

Free Fire is a popular mobile gaming title in the world. In 2020, Free Fire put up incredible numbers in terms of viewership and player base. FFCS 2020 concluded with a record number of viewers and Free Fire overall witnessed a 162% growth in viewership in 2020.
