PUBG's Vikendi map will not be played at PMCO 2021 Spring split

PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) Spring Split 2021 which is set to begin from February 1, 2021 has recently introduced some changes in it's format by removing the Vikendi Map entirely from the tournament. This information comes according to an announcement made by PUBG Mobile Indonesia official Instagram handle that reads:

"PMCO SPRING SPLIT 2021 decided not to use Vikendi's snow map for the tournament."

Vikendi is a 6x6 snow-themed map was launched in December 2018 in the 0.10.0 update of the game. With Vikendi drawn out from the map pool, the PMCO Spring Split 2021 will now be played on Miramar, Sanhok and Erangel.

We are not sure if Vikendi will be included in the map pool for other upcoming PUBG Mobile tournaments as nothing has been officially confirmed.

The PMCO is an open to all tournament, held in almost every region where PMCO pro players make their competitive debut in the PUBG Mobile ecosystem.

Registrations for PMCO 2021 began on on 1st January and will close on January 24th. The qualification stage is scheduled from February 1st to February 7th, while the regional group stage will be conducted from February 16th to February 21st.

This may be changed in the future

The news about Vikendi not being included broke out when PUBG Mobile Indonesia posted a picture that basically tells us that Vikendi won't be a part of the PMCO 2021 Spring Split.

However, the FAQ section of the tournament and PUBG Mobile esports social handles have not mentioned or posted anything about this.

There is a slight chance this may be an error but the chances are very slim.
