PUBG Mobile Esports today has unveiled details about the PUBG Mobile Global Championship Season Zero [PMGC 2020] that was announced in August 2020. PMGC 2020 will feature teams from around the world who have qualified or been invited to face off for a massive prize pool of $2,00,000, making it the biggest event in PUBG Mobile history.

PUBG Mobile Esports has shared details about the PMGC 2020- schedule, teams, format and more, through a dedicated video that premiered on their official YouTube handle. Here's everything you need to know.

Super Weekend

The League stage of the PMGC 2020 will start on 24th November and will conclude on 20th December.

The league stage will be held for five days during each week. The first two days of each week will see the teams competing to get qualified for that week's Super Weekend.

Only 16 teams out of 24 will qualify for the Super Weekend. The 16 teams will face off to earn championship points during the Super Weekend.

The top 16 teams at the end of the league stage who pack the most championship points will qualify for the PMGC Finals.

This format is similar to the PUBG World League Season 0, which was an ongoing tournament from June to August.

In the announcement video, PUBG Mobile teased some big news coming on 24th November. According to internet sleuths, PUBG Mobile will be revealing the team that will be directly invited to the tournament.

Looking at recent reports of the return of PUBG Mobile to India it is possible that one team from India may be invited for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship Season 0.
