PMGC 2020 Week 3 Day 1 Updates: Bigetron RA leads with 25 kills and 54 points

A quick overview of PMGC 2020 Week 3 Day 1

The 3rd Week of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2020 has taken off and Day 1 has come to an end. As usual, the first day of PMGC 2020's third week saw different teams show their dominance on different maps and there wasn't a one-man show.

The unstoppable Indonesian squad Bigetron Red Aliens taking the lead with 25 kills, 1 Chicken Dinner, and 54 points. Klas Digital Athletics were close and bagged 25 kills too but were placed 2nd as they didn't manage to secure a Chicken Dinner.

Bigetron RA needs to watch out for Klas Digital as the two were in close proximity on the points table.

For the unaware, only the points scored during Super Weekend matches that take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, are added to the Overall Standings and not the points from the League a.k.a the Weekday Matches that take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Here's a quick overview of the week 3 day 1 matches:

Round 1

The first match of the day was played on Erangel where 4 AM secured the #1 spot bagging 16 kills and Klas Digital Athletics finishing off 2nd with 10 kills followed by Secret Jin in 3rd place with 3 kills.

Round 2

The second match was played on Miramar and was secured by Alpha 7 esports with 10 kills followed by Abrupt Slayers bagging 7 kills and coming 2nd. The 3rd spot was claimed by BTR who scored 6 kills.

Round 3

The third map was played on Sanhok. Power 888 KPS clinched the game with only 9 kills. However RRQ Athena scored the highest number of kills : 13.

Round 4

The fourth map that was played on Vikendi was claimed by Zeus Esports who scored a mere 9 kills and were surpassed by RRQ Athena who topped the eliminations chart with 15 kills

Round 5

The fifth map was played on Ernagel with Futbolist placing first after scoring a jaw dropping 17 kills while Klas Digital finished 2nd with only 8 eliminations.

Round 6

The sixth and the last game of the day was played on Miramar and was secured by BTR who scored a whooping 16 kills followed by Godlike who scored only 3 kills and were placed 2nd.

For the unaware, PUBG Mobile Esports unveiled the PUBG Mobile Global Championship Season Zero [PMGC 2020] in August 2020 that features teams from around the world who have qualified or been invited to face off for a massive prize pool of $2,00,000, making it the biggest event in PUBG Mobile history.
