League of Legends: Wild Rift update 2.0 is live with new champions, new in-game features
Riot Games has rolled out update 2.0 for League of Legends: Wild Rift. This is the first patch of 2021 and with this update, Riot is introducing players to 5 new champions, and several new in-game features.
League of Legends: Wild Rift is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title developed and published by Riot Games for iOS and Android devices. The game was released in 2020 in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Russia, CIS, and Turkey. It is expected to launch in India, North America, and South America in Spring 2021.
Update 2.0 brings 5 new champions from the 'Bandle city' to League of Legends: Wild Rift-
With the new Party Finder feature, players can search for open lobbies to join. Party owners can make their lobbies open for their friends and other public to join. Players can filter their search by lobby type while the Party Finder will recommend eligible lobbies based on their preferences.
A Network Indicator feature has also been added that will indicate which network the player is on (WiFi, 4G, etc.). It will also show your actual ping during gameplay.
Wild Rift Season 1
January 8 will mark the beginning of the first official ranked season of 2021 in Wild Rift. Season 0 will end soon and players who participated in it will receive ranked rewards after the season ends. The first glorious skin of the new season, the Glorious Tryndamere is up for grabs for those who make it to Gold.
