JioGames announces Rs 2.5 lakhs Clash Royale Contest
Earlier this month, Jio announced their entry into Indian esports after launching the JioMart Gameathon for Free Fire,which was a 3 day event that boasted a collective prize pool of Rs.25,000. The tournament was won by XTZ Esports.
After releasing a couple of teasers, JioGames in collaboration with Supercell- the developer of the game Clash Royale, has finally announced the Clash Royale Contest, where participants will face off for a massive prize pool of INR 2,50,000. Weekly giveaways will also b hosted.
Clash Royale is a free-to-play multiplayer strategy game works in real-time and takes place in the same universe as Supercell's another popular game Clash of Clans.
JioGames Clash Royale Contest Schedule
The Clash Royale Contest will be a 27 day-long tournament, starting from November 28 to December 25.
There will be four stages in the tournament:
Stage 1 will commence on November 28, lasting till December 19. It is a qualifier round and will be open to all participants.
Stage 2 will start on December 21 and this will be the first round of the tournament.
The second round will start with Stage 3 on December 23 with the final stage on December 25 that will include the tournament finale.
The semi-finals and the finals will be streamed on JioTV.
Those participating in the tournament have to sign a disclaimer confirming that they are least 13 years of age and are not a resident of Andhra, Nagaland or Sikkim.
