EA's Apex Legends is coming to Mobile in 2021
Mobile gaming is quite the rage these days. PUBG was one of the first Battle Royale games to be shifted on to the mobile platform. Now, new reports suggest that Apex Legends will join the ranks of Call of Duty and PUBG in bringing their game to the mobile platform next year.
This announcement regarding Apex Legends Mobile comes from company CEO Andrew Wilson during the company's remarks and plans for quarter two of the fiscal year 2021.
Apex Legends Mobile is currently in the works
As of now, we have very little information regarding the development stage of Apex Legends Mobile. However, in the planned remarks, Wilson states that "Apex mobile development will be complete in the new year and ready for launch in FY22." He also stated that "Apex mobile development will be complete in the new year and ready for launch in FY22."
From these details, we can gather that Apex Legends will be playable on Mobile Platforms anytime after Mid 2021. Earlier, it was known that the popular Battle Royale would be ported to iOS and Android mobile phones, but no specific date was detailed.
As for the other 'mobile' platform, Nintendo Switch, there is no word on the release. The Nintendo Switch version of the game was to come out earlier this year, but as of now, reports suggest that it has been delayed to 2021.
Though Apex Legends is over a year old, it is making waves in the Battle Royale community. The game is still going strong and just received the Season 7 update, which brings a new character, a new map and an all new battle pass.
