Call of Duty: Mobile celebrates one year anniversary: Technogeek event, weapon blueprints and more
Call of Duty: Mobile is a battle royale shooter game that was released back in October 2019. The game quickly gained popularity with it's gameplay, features and an unforgettable battle royale experience it offered players.
Call of Duty: Mobile celebrates it's one-year anniversary this October and Activision, the developer of the game, has planned some major updates for this occasion. The new season for Call of Duty: Mobile releases mid-October.
Here's what we know about the Season 11 update
Even though Activision is keeping mum about most part of the update, there are a few things they slipped for the fans.
New Weapon Blueprints
Developers have hand-picked a bunch of weapons from all the previous seasons to bring in to this latest update. One weapon from the collection will be chosen through votes and will be featured in the Season 11 at half cost (10,000 CP). Players can vote for their favourite pick here.
Technogeek event will give players a chance to earn the new Hacker class which is being introduced with the update. Players will be tasked with completing up to 12 tasks in the game. These tasks will range from picking up customized weapons in airdrops to dealing large amounts of damage over a number of matches.
Game modes ending on October 8
There are a bunch of events and game modes currently running in the game which will end on 8th October, These include- King Of The Hill Playlist, Rapid Fire Mode, Hardcore Mode Collection Playlist, Attack Of The Undead Mode, and Pine 24/7. The Battle Royale Warfare Mode ends a day earlier on 7 October 2020.
Apart from this, Ghost the iconic character is set to return. Players have been asking for it and the developers have answered their call. There's a speculation that Night Mode will also be introduced in the new update.
