Godfall PC System Requirements are abnormally high
Godfall is an upcoming "looter-slasher melee-action" RPG from Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing and is set to release for PC and PS5 on November 12. The game will be exclusively available on the Epic Store at launch.
Godfall's minimum and recommended PC system requirements have been officially revealed and they're going to be pretty demanding for anyone without a beefy build. Here is the complete list of specs:
Godfall Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows 10
CPU" AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i5 6600
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
STORAGE: At least 50 GB of free space (According to PS5 reports)
Godfall Recommended System Requirements
OS: Windows 10
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 TI 11 GB
STORAGE: At least 50 GB of free space (according to PS5 reports)
The requirements are unusually high
These specs are considerably above average in terms of stress placed on hardware. While the minimum requirements are low enough for most to be able to play, Godfall still may present something of a challenge for PCs using even slightly older equipment.
The requirements does not state the performance each spec will offer, but Counterpoint community manager whose reddit handle goes by the name of ThanatosNoa said on Reddit that the "recommended" system is aimed at high graphical settings running at 1080p and 60fps and many people have said in response that it's an awful high requirement for 1080/60.
Godfall will require internet connectivity
Almost a month ago, the developer confirmed through Godfall's official Twitter handle that Godfall will not be a live service game but you will have to be online in order to play the game.
This may have been done in order to prevent cheating, so that when you are playing with other players you know they haven't done a Diablo 2 and given themselves max stats and all the best items.
