Devil May Cry 5 is an action-adventure game developed and published by Capcom. It was initially released on 8 March 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition was announced at the PlayStation 5 showcase event and recently, William Yagi-Bacon who is the vice president of digital platforms and marketing at Capcom confirmed the resolution and frame rate options for the game.

William confirmed the resolution and frame rate options in a ResetEra post. Here's how the resolution and frame rates look with RTX ON and OFF.

Ray Tracing ON

  • 4K resolution at 30 frames per second

  • 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second

Ray Tracing OFF

  • 4K resolution at 60 frames per second

  • Up to 120 frames per second

Devil May Cry 5 boasted some masterful combat with groundbreaking graphics where players could play as Dante, Nero, and V to fight terrifying demonic hordes. The game received a lot of praise and PC Gamer UK even went on to say that Devil May Cry 5 is "one of the best games about hitting demons ever made".

As of September 2020, the game has sold over 3.7 million copies and according to Capcom, Devil May Cry 5 is their best-selling title of the series and the game has made it to its "Platinum Titles" list.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will release for Xbox Series S/X on November 10 worldwide. The PlayStation 5 version will be out during the consoles launch day and physical copies will roll out on December 1.
