Cyberpunk 2077 officially launched; records huge player count figure on day 1 on Steam
Cyberpunk 2077 has officially launched yesterday, December 10, on Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Microsoft Windows. After being delayed thrice, players finally got their hands on CD Projekt Red's action RPG.
There are very few games that managed to get the players hyped as much as Cyberpunk 2077 did and there were multiple reasons for the hype. The deep narrative, immersive looking gameplay and little sneak peeks that CDPR gave through Night City Wire series only contributed to the growing anticipation of fans.

According to Steam's data page, Cyberpunk 2077 recorded more than 1 million players on the day of launch. This goes to show how high expectations players hold from CD Projekt Red's latest action RPG and rightly so as they are the same development studio that gave us one of the most popular games of all time- Witcher III.
Cyberpunk 2077 is of varied sizes across all the platforms of it's release. For PC, the download size for Cyberpunk 2077 is a little over 60 GB whereas for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, the size is a whopping 102 GB.
