Crying Suns will be next week's free game on the Epic Store

Great News for Dune fans!

Epic's 2020 Holiday Sale has finally come to an end, after giving away 15 free games, one a day, to commemorate the holiday season. The Holiday gave away games like Alien: Isolation, Metro 2033, Tropico 5 Inside, Darkest Dungeon, My Time in Portia Night in the Woods, Stranded Deep, Solitairica Torchlight 2 and Jurassic World Evolution for free.

Epic Games Store is now resuming their regular weekly freebies by giving away one game for free, every week.

Crying Sun, a tactical rogue-lite game developed by Alt Shift, is going free on the Epic Store come Thursday, January 7. The game will be free for next 24 hours, after which it will be put behind a paywall.

Crying Suns: a game for Dune fans

Inspired by Frank Herbert’s Dune and Isaac Asimov’s Foundation, Crying Suns puts you in the role of a space fleet commander as you explore a mysteriously fallen empire.

Tasks that can be performed include fighting against other space fleets, exploring planets and meeting with the inhabitants of the decaying galaxy. All in all, this game is your chance at a personalized space adventure.

The game launched in 2019 and received strong reviews and you can also find a free demo on steam to make sure if the game suits your taste.
