Warplanes: WW1 Sky Aces announced for Nintendo Switch
Warplanes: WW1 Sky Aces the aerial-warfare, action game developed by Home Net Games and 7Levels is coming to Nintendo Switch this December. The game was initially released on September 23, 2019 for Microsoft Windows through the Steam store.
Warplanes: WW1 Sky Aces is a singleplayer game where the players experience the World War 1 battlefield from inside a fighter plan. Visit the past when the Wright brothers planes had taken off a few years ago and mankind had just begun to explore the skies, let alone participate in dogfights.
Two campaigns and two game modes
In Warplanes: WW1 Sky Aces you will be given the opportunity to pilot over 30 historical airplanes which includes the Fokker Dr.I, famous for its pilot Manfred von Richthofen a.k.a. “Red Baron”. Customize and upgrade your plane as you like and choose between two modes suited for different playstyles and skillsets. In Pilot Mode you can simply focus on air combat, collecting and upgrading planes. Squadron Leader Mode adds an extra layer to the gameplay – apart from combat, you also need to manage resources, hire and train pilots and expand your base.
Players can fly in fighters and bombers to protect or destroy ground targets to change the tides of war. Three campaigns for Triple Entente and one for Central Powers will let you experience all major fronts of World War I. Various types of missions will allow you to fly above most of the countries that participated in the war.
