The Last of Us Part II wins big at the Golden Joystick Awards

The Last of Us Part II has won a total of six awards including the Ultimate Game of the Year Award at the Golden Joystick Awards 2020. Developed by Naughty Dog for PlayStation 4, this action-adventure title was first released on June 19 where it sold over 4 million copies worldwide on its release weekend.

Other than Ultimate Game of the Year Award, The Last of Us Part II also won an award for Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, Best Audio, PlayStation Game of the Year, and Naughty Dog won the Studio of the Year Award. The Last of Us II beat giant game titles like Ghost of Tsushima, Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Genshin Impact to win the Ultimate Game of the Year Award.

Other than The Last of Us Part II which was clearly the biggest winner at the Golden Joystick Awards 2020, Fall Guys won the award for Best Multiplayer Game and Best Family Game, and recently released Hades won the Critic's Choice Award and Best Indie Game Award.
