Recently released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and macOS, "Hades" sells 1 million copies
One of the recent entries in the roguelike action role-playing game genre was Hades. The game was first announced on 6 December 2018 at The Game Awards 2018 and was one of the first third-party titles on the newly-announced Epic Games Store
It exited the early-access stage and officially released on 17 September 2020 and has already managed a sale of a million units.
Play as the Prince of Underworld in
Hades has sold over a million copies till now. 700,000 of these were during the early access period and 300,000 came after the game was released on 17 September 2020.
Hades is developed by Supergiant Games. It a roguelike action role-playing game where the player assumes the role of the Prince of the Underworld Zagreus, son of Hades.
Zagreus wants to get away from his father, escape the Underworld and reach Mount Olympus. Zagreus is helped by Olympians and also some of the members of Underworld itself.
The game features various NPC's, quests, weapons, godly items, healing items, in-game currency which can be used to purchase improved versions of your items and more. The NPC's you interact with will provide you with chunks of narrative and some also offer you side quests which, if you complete, gets you rewarded.

Hades v1.0 features new items, more story and more action as Zagreus tries to escape the Underworld.
Hades boasts a 10/10 rating on Steam. It was released on Nintendo Switch, macOS, Microsoft Windows on 17 September 2020.
