No Man's Sky update 3.0 offers a bigger, diverse universe for exploration
Games like Kerbel Space Program, Elite Dangerous and Star Conflict are some of the best space explorations out there. There are some like No Man's Sky which failed to make a mark upon players and faced a lot of criticism.
Since then, the developers have thrived on improving the game and their latest update is the result of their hard work. New 'Origins' update brings more aliens, colossal buildings and more.
A vast space exploration opportunity
Product of indie game studio Hello Games, No Man's Sky is a game that has been through a lot. There was a lot expected from this game and upon release, it did not live up to the hype.
Although the game was graphically exceptional, it lacked narrative depth. The gameplay was considered 'lackluster' and 'repititive'. The aim of the game is to survive while exploring, trading resources, powering through aliens and space pirates while trying to understand the cosmos.
All these things did sound appealing at first, but the game failed to deliver the awesomeness it promised. The game has had a few updates like adding multiplayer elements, VR support, surface vehicles among others.
Their latest update, Update 3.0 or the 'Origins' update, brings more diversity to the game. More flora and fauna, new terrain, new creatures, new weather conditions and much more. You can read the full patch notes here.
A richer experience
Despite being under a lot of scrutiny, Hello Games have given the players a richer gameplay experience with every update. Players can expect few more updates in the upcoming months. No Man's Sky is available on PlayStation4, Xbox One and on Steam for PC.
