Ghostwire Tokyo game director says two new PS5 features will be an experience for gamers
Ever since Sony showcased their PS5 console last month, people have been looking forward to hearing more about the console, and actually seeing it in the flesh.
Along with the console itself, people are excited about the all new Dual Sense controller too. Now, a few game industry leaders have got their hands on the controller and they have stated that it will be a key component in playing games on the PS5.
Ghostwire Tokyo game director says there are two features to watch out for
Two of the most hyped PS5 features so far are the new DualSense controller and 3D audio, both designed to make gamers feel more immersed. Unfortunately, we can't get a good grasp of how effective these features are without trying them out firsthand.
The director of Ghostwire: Tokyo Kenji Kimura at Tango: Gameworks, told IGN that the new DualSense controller will blow gamers away when they first use it. He also said the same about the 3D audio.
"You need to experience it directly because this is very difficult to explain both verbally and in text, but the DualSense Haptics and adaptive triggers felt so good that it made us, the developers, say “woah!” because they allowed for us to feel and experience the various actions and attacks like never before," Kimura stated.
As for the 3D audio, he stated that it lends a completely immersive vibe to the players. You can get really lost in the environment and that is a key feature of the PS5.
Arguably the most important forthcoming reveal is pricing; Sony appears to be waiting for the last minute to drop the price of their console. If Microsoft significantly undercuts the other or vice versa, then it won't matter what anyone says about their capabilities.
