Elden Ring is up for pre-order right now for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One

One of the most highly anticipated upcoming games is Elden Ring. The game is being developed by FromSoftware, the developers behind the Dark Souls series, the newly released Demon's Souls remake for the PS5, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and more.

As of now, we don't really know a whole lot about the game. In fact, even the release date for Elden Ring is unknown. However, the game is up for pre-order right now on the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One consoles. So, here's what you need to know.

Elden Ring Pre-orders are now live

Elden Ring can be bought for the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One consoles via Amazon, Best Buy and Gamestop. The game is available for the standard price of $59.99 on all platforms and across all outlets. According to Amazon, the game will be released on December 31, 2021, but this is most likely a placeholder for the actual release date of the game.

As of now, there seem to be no updates on pre-order bonuses for the game. Additionally, the aforementioned prices are for the standard edition of the game, and other editions could have some bonuses.

What you need to know about Elden Ring

Elden Ring is quite an ambitious project from FromSoftware and George R.R Martin (whom you would know as the writer of the Game of Thrones novel series).

The game is FromSoftware’s largest game to-date and is set in a sprawling realm steeped in a rich and bloody history crafted by Hidetaka Miyazaki – creator of the influential and critically acclaimed Dark Souls video game series; and George R.R. Martin – author of The New York Times best-selling fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire.
