BioWare reveals artwork for the next Mass Effect game

Tumblr user Felassan shared three new pieces of Artwork from BioWare's recently released book 'BioWare: Stories and Secrets from 25 Years of Game Development'. These images possibly hint at what we can see in the next Mass Effect game. Mass Effect is a series of third-person RPG's developed by BioWare and published by Microsoft Game Studios

The images give glimpses of the characters, world, and spaceships in the upcoming Mass Effect game. The release date or the title of this game is not yet known but BioWare has confirmed that they are working on a new Mass Effect game apart from the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.

Return to the Andromeda galaxy?

These images were captioned as 'A look at the next Mass Effect' and below it was the blurb which read "On the heels of a long-awaited remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy, BioWare now prepares its epic return to space. A veteran team is hard at work envisioning the next big Mass Effect game. Expect amazing new worlds to explore with memorable characters buoyed by the series’ signature choices and consequences."

The first image is similar to the 'Mudskipper' spaceship that we saw when the new Mass Effect game was teased and also in the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition blog post last week. Does this mean that new Mass Effect game will take us back to Andromeda?

This image shows an architectural design similar to what we saw in Mass Effect Andromeda. Remenants, who were a mysterious race that once ruled over Andromeda, used a similar kind of design.

This image is labelled as 'MR-7' and it looks like a Mass Relay which means that a new Mass Relay may be added to the upcoming Mass Effect game.

All of these images hint towards the return to the Andromeda Galaxy among other areas and the game might possibly continue from the events of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Nothing has been confirmed yet and we don't know much about the new Mass Effect game.
