Bethesda says Starfield or The Elder Scrolls 6 won't be affected by the new Indiana Jones game
Yesterday, Bethesda Softworks announced that they are working together with MachineGames to develop an original Indiana Jones game. This game will be executive produced by Todd Howard in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.
This news caused a wave of excitement to run through the community but some people were wondering if the development of the new Indiana Jones game will affect Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 as Todd Howard is the Director for both of these titles. Bethesda immediately cleared the air saying that the development of The Elder Scroll 6 and Starfield won't be affected by the news of the Indiana Jones game.
Starfield and The Elder Scroll 6 won't be affected
Pete Hines, vice president of Bethesda Softworks' public relations and marketing department, clarified that even if Todd is the executive producer on several projects including the Fallout TV show, his main focus remains on directing Starfield and TES6.
There is no news regarding the release date or official title of the new Indiana Jones game but coming from two giants of the gaming industry, it is expected to be a masterpiece, or something close to it.
The release dates for Starfield or The Elder Scrolls 6 are also a mystery but Bethesda is prioritizing these two titles before the Indiana Jones game. Indiana Jones game may or may not be an Xbox exclusive but what we know is that Starfield will be coming to next-gen consoles i.e, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC whereas The Elder Scrolls 6 will be coming on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
