Assassin's Creed Valhalla becomes Ubisoft's best-selling PC game within a week of its launch
Ubisoft announced yesterday that their latest open-world RPG title, Assassin's Creed Valhalla has become their best-selling Assassin's Creed game for PC. The game was launched on November 10, and within one week, it has sold more units than any other Assassin's Creed game.
Despite being available only on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store for PC, Assassin's Creed Valhalla has witnessed record sales within one week of it's launch. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is also launched on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S where it continues to garner positive reviews.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is full of action
Julien Laferrière, Producer, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla said in the press release that, “We are truly delighted by the enthusiastic response from players and want to thank the fans for their incredible support. Delivering this game amid a global pandemic was a true tour de force by our teams and it’s fantastic to see players enjoying the game so much."
He also adds that "launch is only the beginning and we have robust content plans for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that will keep players immersed in their epic Viking saga for a long time to come.”
One of the most appealing factors about Assassin's Creed Valhalla is that the game offers different avenues for the player to explore the open-world while engaging in high-octane combat using a variety of weapons and combinations. Assuming the role of Eivor, a viking raider, you are required to lead your fellow Vikings against the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms.
