Apple TV to be available for the Xbox Series X and Series S on launch day

The Xbox Series X and Series S consoles are being touted for their high end technology and the much awaited next generation games and features. What they are not known for are the multimedia services.

Incidentally, the Xbox Series S and Series X will also be mega multimedia powerhouses seeing as they already come integrated with so many streaming apps. Now, it has been revealed that Apple TV will come to the next generation Xbox consoles at launch, on November 10, 2020.

The Xbox Series consoles will be more than just gaming machines

With the last generation of the Xbox- the Xbox One, Microsoft began pushing the boundaries of what a gaming console can do. They added features such as surfing the web, and the ability to access your favourite online streaming services.

Be it YouTube, Netflix or Amazon Prime, Disney+, HBO Max, Crunchyroll, Funimation, Spotify, YouTube TV, Hulu, NBC Peacock, Vudu, FandangoNow, Twitch, Sky Go, NOW TV, Sky Ticket or anything else, the Xbox One had support for it all.

The Xbox Series X and Series S consoles will take that to the next level and will provide loads of more options to choose from including the already present ones. It has also been confirmed that the console will get support for Apple TV on day one- November 10, 2020.

The benefit of Apple TV is that it comes with Apple TV+, Apple TV channels, and a slew of movies for you cinephiles to get lost in. You can purchase a subscription to Apple TV for $5 a month through your Xbox console or test it out with a 7-day free trial when the Series X/S drop on November 10.
