HyperX announces Pulsefire Haste ultra lightweight gaming mouse
HyperX cutting-edge lightweight mouse is finally here and it weighs in at just 59-grams. The Pulsefire Haste mouse was announced by HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology, Inc. and it is priced at $50 (INR 3,696)
The HyperX Pulsefire Haste is a 59-gram mouse which is made by clever design decisions that help reduce the weight of the mouse. The mouse has hexagonal holes all over the palm rest and half-way through the left and right-click buttons.
Hexagonal cutouts are helping mice become light
Currently, lightweight mice with hexagonal cutouts are gaining popularity. This sort of design helps cut down on the weight of the overall body of the mouse, which allows for greater control over it.
HyperX's Pulsefire Haste mouse is at par with the likes of the Glorious PC Gaming Race Model O and the Finalmouse Ultralight series. The mouse weighs in at 59 grams, just a gram over the other two.
Overall, the Pulsefire Haste features a somewhat ambidextrous design- the thumb buttons are only on the left side of the mouse, but the design makes it suitable for use sans the thumb buttons by lefties. The mechanical switches on the mouse buttons are Golden Micro switches by TTK.
In total there are 6 buttons, including the scroll wheel. These are the left and right clicks, the DPI switcher and the two thumb buttons meant for right-handed gamers.
As for the sensor, it comes equipped with a PixArts PAW3335 sensor with up to 16,000 DPI, which can be set at different presets for each application.
At a price of $50 (INR 3,696), the mouse offers quite a lot of features for a specific niche of gamers.
