GoodGamer amasses 250,000 registered users, closes seed round funding

GoodGamer Corp. recently closed a $2.5 Million Seed Round which they plan to use exclusively for user acquisition. GoodGamer has also registered 250,000 users within the first month of it's release.

Last month, GoodGamer Corp. launched their first sports and true esports Fantasy Gaming App in India called the GoodGamer App. The timing was perfect as IPL had just begun and Fantasy Gaming was booming.

GoodGamer App offers some new features which are not available in other, generic Fantasy Gaming Apps. One of the feature is that GoodGamer App offers proposition contests for Fantasy Cricket.

Prop contests are one of the fastest growing-segments in the US sports gaming sector and are independent of the final outcome of the game. They are based on specific events that happen during the game.

Prop Contests requires users dive deeper in their pool of knowledge about the game and build a team that is not entirely based on skill and performance but also, on the props that are selected for the players (wickets, centuries etc.) thus emphasizing the role of each player. This way, the prize pool is divided into fewer users and winnings are maximized.

GoodGamer Corp. plans to add these following features the App in the coming months-

  • In-depth player injury reports and player injury alerts

  • An AI-based lineup optimizer

  • Private contests where the contest creators can earn a commission for creating and managing the contests

GoodGamer currently has daily Fantasy Leagues with Rs. 1,00,000 prize pool.

GoodGamer Corp. had appointed Indian bowlers- Umesh Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav as Brand Influences for their fantasy app. GoodGamer currently offers Fantasy Leagues for Cricket and CS:GO and they plan to add Football, Valorant, DotA2 and Free Fire in the future.
